
Ron works with the client management team to analyse situations and develop strategic communication campaigns to achieve their satisfactory outcomes. He helps business clients to sustain or increase profitability and market share.
His experience includes corporate affairs, marketing communication and communicating about complex issues for high technology businesses. He also has experience in implementing organisational change programs.
Ron has a strong interest in health issues. He helped establish the Glaucoma Foundation of Australia (now Glaucoma Australia) and created and ran a successful national campaign for several years to increase awareness of this eye disease.
He has a scientific background, and worked within the Australian Government on the development and marketing of new technologies, and on energy and environmental issues.
He was an Australian diplomat to the USA and Canada covering minerals and energy affairs including health, safety and environmental issues. Later he led an Australian team in an international energy technology assessment project.
He has lectured at tertiary institutions on marketing communication and public relations.
